Early Life and Education

Tell us something about you, your early life and education

I am a French International Business lawyer, a Doctor of Law, and a former Professor of Law. I have 20 years of experience as a lawyer and 10 years of experience in teaching law.
    
My primary practice areas include international business law, IT law, intellectual property law, and corporate law.

I have been honored with several international awards. I received the prestigious title of Top International Business Lawyer of the Year for 2024 from the International Association of Top Professionals, based in New York. I have won the International Elite 100 Global Award for Business Lawyer of the Year - Global. I was also named International Business Lawyer of the Year in France - 2024 at the Global Law Experts Annual Awards and the Advisory Excellence Annual Awards. 

I was designated Leading International Business Lawyer of the Year - Paris at the 2023 Leading Adviser Awards by Acquisition International. I have been selected by Global Law Experts, Leaders in Law and Advisory Excellence as the exclusively recommended expert in international business law for France on a global level. World’s Leaders Magazine featured me in its annual listing of ‘World’s Most Influential Women Leaders in Law, 2024', highlighting “exceptional women law experts possessing unique traits and ideologies that helped them to attain a successful stature in their legal sector”.

My active participation and exclusive selection within globally renowned legal networks enable me to collaborate with law firms established in more than 150 countries.

When I was a kid, I wanted to be like Zorro or the Musketeers, protecting those who cannot succeed alone.

I completed my university education at Panthéon-Assas University (Paris II), where I earned my Doctorate in Law by defending my thesis, "The Legal Commitment." In 2003, I received the Certificate of Aptitude for the Legal Profession (CAPA) from the Paris Bar School (EFB). I was sworn in as a lawyer at the Paris Bar in 2004. In 2010, I obtained a Legal Capacity Certificate from the Bulgarian Ministry of Justice and also became a lawyer at the Sofia Bar. This enabled me to act as counsel for a renowned American international energy development company on issues related to the IGB interconnection pipeline between the Greek and Bulgarian gas systems. My main law firm is located in Paris, France, and I have a secondary law firm in Sofia, Bulgaria.

In addition to my expertise as a legal practitioner, I have gained valuable theoretical experience by teaching various legal subjects for ten years at some of the top higher education institutions in France. Before focusing on the development of my law firm, I taught law at Panthéon-Assas University (Paris II) and served as a Professor of Law at the European Business School (EBS), the École Supérieure d’Administration et de Management (ESAM), and the Lille School of Management (ESC Lille). I also trained lawyers in private international law at the Paris Bar School (EFB).

I have supported numerous national and international companies in navigating complex transactions and resolving commercial disputes.

In addition, I serve as a consultant in international investment, government relations, and business development for an American multinational firm specializing in technology-focused strategic consulting. In this role, I provide expertise to businesses and governments around the globe.

I have also established a strong reputation as an expert in digital law, advising clients on legal matters related to new information and communication technologies. I focus on anticipating regulatory changes and delivering innovative, proactive legal advice to my clients.

My main law firm is located in Paris, France, a global hub for international business and finance. This prime location enables me to offer my services to a diverse clientele, including multinational corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and high-net-worth individuals engaged in complex business transactions and commercial disputes. My firm has built a strong reputation for excellence in areas such as international business law, IT law, corporate law, and intellectual property law.

Continuous education and training ensure that I remain at the forefront of these rapidly evolving fields.

Leveraging technology to enhance my client services is another key focus. I am implementing advanced legal tech solutions to streamline the processes in my law firm, improve efficiency, and deliver more value to my clients.

The year 2024 has been exceptionally rewarding and productive for my law firm. I have handled numerous highly interesting cases. I have achieved significant milestones and received several prestigious accolades that underscore my commitment to excellence in the field of international business law.

As a Doctor of Law and a former Professor, I have extensive expertise in research and a natural inclination to pursue it. I regularly publish articles and tutoring videos aimed at helping businesses secure their national and international activities and promoting new legislation related to new technologies and artificial intelligence. Among other things, I advocate for implementing new legal rules on neurorights and recognizing legal personality for certain forms of artificial intelligence.

My firm prioritizes research and innovation to maintain a competitive edge and provide exceptional legal services. I monitor legal developments, emerging trends, and regulatory changes, ensuring my law firm’s advice is cutting-edge. I collaborate with academic institutions and industry experts on research projects, staying connected to advancements in legal theory and practice.
