I graduated as a Computer Science Engineer from Madras University in 2003. During my college days, I developed a profound passion for programming, which became the cornerstone of my professional aspirations. The first programming language I fell in love with was 'C,' which inspired me to explore the intricacies of coding and problem-solving. I presented a project developed in 'C' at a technical symposium held in my college and was honored as the Best 'C' Programmer. That achievement marked the beginning of my journey into the realms of computations, algorithms, and innovative problem-solving.

I began my career at a startup, which provided me with hands-on experience in tackling challenges and crafting solutions. I then transitioned to multinational corporations like Wipro, HCL Technologies, Oracle Corp, and PwC, where I honed my technical and leadership skills. My tenure at PwC was particularly transformative, as I evolved into a fully grounded Software Architect. This role allowed me to design and execute comprehensive IT systems that addressed complex business challenges on a global scale.

Eventually, I reached a stage where I aspired to take on principal technologist roles. My goal was to craft end-to-end IT systems that powered businesses worldwide. This ambition led me to join Novopay, a company co-founded by Vinod Khosla in Bangalore. At Novopay, I played a pivotal role in elevating the technology landscape of the banking platform, enabling fintech solutions to be delivered as a service. My journey in principal roles continued as I worked with prominent clients like Popular Bank, Mastercard, and Fidelity Systems. Finally, I embarked on a new chapter as a Chief Architect for a OneAM US Inc based in New York.

Currently, I serve as a Technology Executive at Adroitts, where I act as a Technology Mastermind, providing strategic solutions for clients across the globe. In addition, I have held prominent roles such as Chief Architect at OneAM US Inc and Technology Advisor at AppGoodFood, a food marketplace application. These experiences have allowed me to work at the intersection of innovation and business, leveraging technology to drive impactful results.

My professional affiliations also include being a Senior Member of IEEE, where I demonstrate excellence through ongoing research and contributions to IT advancements. One of the most challenging experiences in my career was building a financing platform from the ground up for a New York-based startup. Starting with a clean slate, the objective was to create a prototype financing application tailored to small and medium businesses. While the immediate focus was on a prototype, I envisioned a more ambitious goal—a scalable, future-ready software system.

I began by designing a comprehensive blueprint of the financing platform, utilizing modular financial components as microservices hosted in the cloud. These were built with an AI-first approach to ensure efficiency and scalability. Assembling a team of talented engineers with diverse skill sets, I guided them to develop the MVP. This effort resulted in the successful onboarding of the first beta customer, proving the platform's viability and setting the stage for future growth.

This challenge taught me the importance of combining technical expertise with visionary thinking and collaborative leadership.

How do you stay ahead in your industry?
