Boston Celtics Announce Roster for NBA 2K25 Summer League 2024

The Boston Celtics have officially announced their roster for the NBA 2K25 Summer League 2024, scheduled to occur from July 12 to July 22 at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion, located on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Celtics' NBA 2K25 Summer League 2024 Schedule and Key Players

The Celtics' Summer League campaign commences on Saturday, July 13, with a game against the Miami Heat, slated for 6:30 p.m. ET (3:30 p.m. PT) on NBA TV. Key returning players include guard JD Davison, forward Drew Peterson, center Neemias Queta, and forward Jordan Walsh, who are set to lead the NBA 2K25 Summer League 2024 roster. Celtics assistant coach D.J. MacLeay will take on the role of head coach for the team during this competition.

Jordan Walsh, entering his second year with the Celtics, is poised for his second Summer League appearance following a commendable performance in 2023, where he averaged 16.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.6 assists across five games before his rookie season. The Celtics' 2024 NBA Draft selections, guard Baylor Scheierman (30th overall) and forward Anton Watson (54th overall), are set to make their professional debuts in Celtics uniforms.

NBA 2K25 Summer League 2024 Format and Playoff Details

Each participating team will compete in a minimum of five games, including four games from July 12 to July 19. Following the initial four games, the top four teams will advance to the playoffs, beginning with a semifinal doubleheader on Sunday, July 21, at 2 p.m. ET and 4 p.m. ET on ESPN. The victorious teams from the semifinals will face off in the championship game on Monday, July 22, at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN. The four playoff teams will be determined based on their winning percentages from the first four games, with additional tiebreak criteria available here. The remaining 26 teams will play a fifth game on either Saturday, July 20, or Sunday, July 21.
