Delhi Blast Sparks Political Clash: Atishi Accuses Centre, BJP Hits Back

Table of Contents

The recent blast near a CRPF school in Rohini has not only rattled Delhi’s residents but also sparked a political war between Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi and the BJP. While investigators work to determine the cause of the explosion, Atishi has criticized the BJP-controlled central government for failing to maintain law and order in the capital.

The explosion, which occurred early on Sunday morning, damaged the school and nearby vehicles but caused no injuries. Following the incident, Atishi took to social media to condemn the Centre’s handling of Delhi’s security, comparing the city’s current state to Mumbai during the height of the underworld.

In a strongly-worded statement, Atishi said, “The law and order in Delhi is akin to the Mumbai underworld era. Criminals roam freely, and the Centre shows no intent to address the situation.”

BJP leaders were quick to respond, accusing Atishi of exploiting the incident for political gain. Shazia Ilmi, a prominent BJP spokesperson, dismissed Atishi’s comments, labeling her a “puppet CM” who consistently blames the Centre for all problems without offering solutions.

The blast is being investigated for potential ties to the Khalistani movement, with social media posts hinting at a possible retaliation for the government’s actions against pro-Khalistan separatists. Investigators are on high alert as they probe the blast’s origin and motive.
