Academically, I secured 333rd rank in a state-wide entrance exam for engineering, completed my Bachelor’s degree in engineering at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University College of Engineering, Hyderabad, and achieved an All-India Rank of 133 in GATE-2005, which enabled me to pursue a Master of Technology at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, from where I graduated in 2007.
My professional journey began in 2007 as a Firmware Engineer at LSI Logic, where I worked on firmware solutions for high-availability RAID storage controllers. Over the years, I’ve held various roles at leading technology companies such as NetApp Inc., SanDisk Corp., and Seagate India, and gained extensive experience in firmware design, including architecture optimization and performance tuning in Firmware for storage technology.
Since 2016, I have been a part of Western Digital Technologies USA. Starting as an individual contributor, I have grown to lead the Flash Translation Layer (FTL) team, managing a group of twelve engineers, and leading a global firmware development effort in delivering cutting-edge firmware for enterprise storage SSDs.
In recognition of my contributions, I have received multiple awards for successful Western Digital products and innovations. I am the proud holder of 4 granted patents, with 6 patents under filing, along with tens of trade secrets at Western Digital Technologies Inc.
