Early Life and Education
Can you tell us something about yourself, your early life, and your education?
I am a dedicated person with a passion for learning new things. Growing up, I embraced challenges, which shaped my strong work ethic. My education includes Certifications in Occupational health and safety (Nebosh, IOSH and currently pursuing a Master Degree in Sports Business at the FBA (a Swiss football business Academy institution that honed my skills. All in all, I had a vow that, it’s either I become great or no need to exist at all, and this has push me to work 3x than any ordinary person can imagine.
Passion for Football
What led you to your current profession or field of expertise?
I grow up seeing everyone play football in my community called Upper Ashong in the Batibo sub division of Cameroon, no one can doubt our community team by the name “Ngomossoh worriors” My uncle with his title Pa Bali use to be the goalkeeper, my elder brother Gustav use to be the main defender and due to this I develope strong passion for football and once became the midfielder of thesame team playing with a host of friends and event played in the school teams during my childhood as a striker and earn the nickname “Bright” which my friends still call me till now but couldn’t pursue my football career due to family pressures so I said to myself, incase I can’t concerntrate play myself again, i will create an opportunity for others to play the beautiful game. Inorder to master everything in football organization I had to enrolled for the master degree program with the 13th edition batch of the FBA (Football Business Academy) , my graduation will be happening by 29 August 2024.
Business Overview and Market Presence
Can you provide an overview of the business and its presence in the target market?
Sports business in the gulf in general is at its development as compare to Europe where it is already at the advanced stage. Here there are still a few challenges but the main one is Fan engagement, no one has time or the motivation to go to the field and watch football properly due to lack of connection to those playing and that is Where Diversity sports LLC comes in now with a new approach in sports, spacializing in organizing sports events that cater for everyone both the professionals and amateurs focusing mainly on fostering several UN sustainability goals in sports. The current competition INC (Inter Nationality Cup) is targeting different nationalities since there are more than 100+ different communities base in the UAE, so every community will definitely turn out to support their team and as a results breaking the fan engagement problem which I am very sure will happen.

What does your business offer as per the current competitive market?
Diversity sports LLC is offering sustainable sports competitions that permits everyone both men and ladies to participate unlike other sports companies that focused on making sports only for the best athletes and a single gender not knowing that best athletes today were beginners of yesterday. We are a platform that allows athletes of both genders of all level to showcase their skills weather they are starters or professionals.
Growth and Expansion Plans
What are some of the growth and expansion plans you have in your pipeline?
Diversity sports LLC is planning to expand beyond the UAE and gulf region to Africa where I come from and also change lives of young athletes. For now we are focusing mainly on football and boxing ensuring gender equality that means we organize event for both men and ladies simultaneously and offer thesame prize pool.
Company Performance and Future Outlook
How has the year been for your company?
Everything good thing takes time but we trust the process, there has been some challenges which is a reality to every business however we trust that every good products will always have consumers, we plan to do the INC (Inter Nationality Cup) every October month and Organized boxing fights every November just two major tournaments yearly and sub events just to for sports development. The only challenges are lack of support for sports from the general public especially if not known yet but like I said we are trusting the process.

Employees can foster teamwork by communicating openly, respecting diverse perspectives, collaborating on tasks, offering support, and celebrating achievements. Organizations should provide training, establish clear goals, encourage a positive work environment, recognize teamwork, and promote a culture of inclusivity and collaboration.
Focus on Research and Innovation
Tell us about the company’s focus and investment in research and innovation.
The company’s focus is to establish two key running competitions which is the INC and Boxing every October and November and for research which is a little costly, I do the research by studying and in return teach my team members on what they deserve to know or on what they need to complete their task effectively.
Advice for Startups
Any tips for startups looking to get onto a similar pathway?
Starting a sports business requires a lot of resilience and patience, it is never a days job with any business ventures. Most importantly, anyone should venture into sports only if they are passionate about sports and later on money will follow but if they venture into sports for money making purposes then, they are coming to run away. I consistently pay salaries, office rent, dewa bills for two years, zero income source planning on the INC, making designs, building the rules and regulations, making constant research on future challenges and putting in place control measures nonstop, reasons being that I am first of all passionate about sports but someone not passionate, not patient will shut down the company.
