Tell us about your early life, education, and what led you to start your business?
I had a humble beginning in Patna, India. Despite limited means, my parents prioritized education, ensuring that my siblings and I received the best possible learning opportunities. Throughout my life, I have been fortunate to have incredible teachers, mentors, and managers who have guided me along the way.
My career began in 2001 as a call center agent at Wipro BPO (formerly Spectramind). My passion for working with customers and solving problems has been the driving force behind my personal and professional growth. Over the years, this journey has taken me to different places and introduced me to extraordinary people.
While leading various operational functions at TASC Outsourcing, our Founder and CEO encouraged me to transition into the revenue side of the business. My goal was to build a service that aligned with our core operations but offered higher returns and helped us move up the value chain. Additionally, I was eager to challenge myself with something completely new—something that would push me out of my comfort zone and help me develop new skills.

There is no one formula or a magic wand… I believe the journey of an entrepreneur requires a strong and poised mindset. It’s undoubtedly a challenging path, but it is also enlightening as you navigate through countless unknowns. I have read about many entrepreneurs, and a common theme they express is that the journey itself was as fulfilling as the result. There are many ways to keep yourself inspired, but what kept me going when I started building TASC Corporate Services were these key principles:

Purpose: There must be a strong “why” behind your belief. If you study any great leader, one of my favorite reference points is The Golden Circle by Simon Sinek. He and many others emphasize that the “why” must be clear. Is it always clear? No, but that’s exactly why, as a young entrepreneur, you must keep questioning it. When purpose is at the core of an organization, it becomes easier to align people and resources toward a shared vision. At TASC, our purpose is simple yet profound—to create opportunities and impact lives.

Co-Creation: Building a business is never a solo endeavor. I have always found it easier to guide my team toward our objectives by fostering a sense of co-creation. As an entrepreneur, you need people around you who genuinely believe they are co-creators of the vision.
