The crash, which occurred around 1:30 PM, was attributed to extreme weather conditions compounded by drivers' failure to maintain speed limits and safe distances. According to KazAvtoJol, the national highway operator, these factors led to the catastrophic chain reaction involving cars, trucks, and two tractors.

Emergency personnel and law enforcement were promptly dispatched to the scene. Authorities have confirmed that vehicle evacuation is ongoing, and traffic along the affected stretch has been restricted for all vehicles.

Weather Warnings Ignored
Prior to the incident, emergency services had issued alerts about deteriorating weather conditions, advising against road travel, especially on country roads. Despite these warnings, many motorists ventured out, contributing to the scale of the disaster.

As of now, no casualties or injuries have been officially reported, although assessments are ongoing. The authorities have deployed 22 road vehicles and tractors to clear the area and restore normalcy.
