Early Life and Education
Can you tell us something about yourself, your early life, and your education?
My name is Dr Linda Pajoel. I am an investment educator and CEO of Investornomy. We are on a mission to help 1 billion people become intelligent investors.
As a multi-award winning Investment Educator, I specialize in stock investments, with a focus on long-term strategies that consistently beats the average stock market returns.
I am a former dentist, did my masters at University of Waterloo, Canada, I started my PhD in the same school before dropping out to focus on business, after I discovered that in order to help more people, I needed to focus on business full time.
Path to Investment Education
What led you to your current profession or field of expertise?
I bought my first stock in 2008 through a stock broker. Anyone that is familiar with the stock market knows that 2008/2009 is historic for stock market crash. So I lost half of my networth as of then after I panicked and liquidated all my stock investments. It wasn’t much but it was half of all that I had at that time.
The sad thing about this story is that I bought stocks of good companies even though I wasn’t aware that those companies were good because I bought them through a stock broker and did not know much about stock investing. This is one of the reasons we encourage people to learn how to stock investments by themselves , even if they want to use a wealth manager in the long run. Why, whether you are investing by yourself or using a wealth manager in, you still remain the final decision maker of what happens to your stock investments. Ignorance is the enemy here.
After my first business boomed and I made lots of money, I needed to find reliable ways to invest my income. So I started researching investment opportunities and discovered that though there are many investment vehicles out there, stock investments had some advantages that made them superior to other investment vehicles. For examples, you can do stock investments from the comfort of your home through a phone. Stock investments do not repairs, and it takes little time to set up your investment and therefore it doesn’t become a second job.
When I saw how long it took and the amount of research work that I had to put in to learn how to profitably invest in stocks, I decided to teach people this rare knowledge.

Can you provide an overview of the business and its presence in the target market?
As per our mission, we teach investment secrets in general., through our events and books. Specifically, we have regard free stock investing mentorship sessions. We usually take in 50 new people per week. We also do advance paid trainings for those that want to learn more.
Right now, most of our trainings are done online to reach a wider audience, hence, we have students who reside in Canada, America, UK, Australia, and other countries.

We teach you how to do stock investments by yourself, without losing money. What is unique about us is that we teach stock investing strategies that enable beginner investors to not lose money investing in stocks. What are some of the growth and expansion plans you have in your pipeline?
There are still countries where people don’t have the stock investing platform that allows them to invest in stocks of companies that are outside their countries. We want to find unique solutions that will make stock investing more inclusive.

This year has been awesome. We just concluded our annual event. We are noticing that more and more people are becoming interested in learning how to invest in stocks without losing money.

What measures do you think employees and organizations can take to build effective teamwork and unity?
It is difficult to tell another organization what to do. So let me share what we are doing to build effective teamwork and unity at our workplace. We ask each staff to take a personality test that reveals their natural traits. The report from this personality test tell us more about the strengths and weaknesses of each staff. So, we hire and assign roles based on the staff natural ability. This tiny extra step taken to understand the staff ensures that they are assign the task they enjoy. Effective teamwork originates from giving people roles that they have natural ability for. Knowing your staff’s natural ability is the first step towards effect team building.

We are always researching. Once we find new things, we implement them which leads to innovation in how we run the company. Our research efforts also ensures that we are teaching the most coveted secrets on how to earn higher returns on different investment types.
