On Sunday, Disney+ Hotstar announced the OTT release of Munjya. The film is now streaming on the platform, much to the delight of fans. The announcement featured a motion poster with Sharvari and Abhay Verma, with Sharvari portraying the character of Bella/Munni.

The official caption reads, “Aapne Munjya ko yaad kiya, aur voh apni Munni ko dhoondne dauda chala aa gaya (You thought of Munjya, who is here to search for his Munni)... Saari munnis (all Munnis), please be aware!! Watch Munjya now streaming!”

About the Film

Munjya centers on the mythical creature Munjya, who disrupts the life of Bittu, played by Abhay Verma, known for his role in The Family Man. Mona Singh stars as Pummy, a single working mother who is fiercely protective of her son Bittu. The screenplay, crafted by Yogesh Chandekar and Niren Bhatt, brings to life a blend of horror and humor, while the music is composed by Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya.

Released in theaters on June 7, Munjya has been a commercial success, grossing ₹120 crore in India, according to Sacnilk.com.
