Singham Again Achieves ₹186 Crore Worldwide Box Office Collection in Four Days
Rohit Shetty's latest addition to his cop universe, Singham Again, has garnered significant attention, amassing a global box office collection of ₹186 crore within just four days of its Diwali release. The film features a star-studded cast, including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film's overseas earnings stand at ₹40 crore, while its domestic gross collection in India is ₹146 crore. The net collection in India is estimated at ₹139.25 crore. This performance marks a record for both director Rohit Shetty and lead actor Ajay Devgn, surpassing the opening weekend collections of their previous collaborations, Golmaal Again and Chennai Express.
On its fourth day, Monday, Singham Again experienced a decline in earnings, with an estimated collection of ₹17.50 crore, as reported by Sacnilk. This follows an impressive first two days, each exceeding ₹40 crore in collections, and a Sunday collection of ₹35.75 crore. The film also saw a decrease in theater occupancy, with only 33.87% of seats filled on Monday, November 3. Major cities like Mumbai, NCR, Pune, and Bengaluru recorded the highest theater occupancy on that day.
Singham Again brings back Ajay Devgn as the relentless cop Bajirao Singham, embarking on a high-stakes mission against crime. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the narrative draws inspiration from the Ramayana, with Singham confronting the formidable terrorist Danger Lanka, portrayed by Arjun Kapoor, in a quest to rescue his wife, Avni, played by Kareena Kapoor Khan.
The film's robust box office performance underscores its widespread appeal and the enduring popularity of Rohit Shetty's cop universe among audiences.
