Strengthening India-Thailand Ties
India and Thailand share deep historical and cultural ties, with connections rooted in shared Buddhist heritage, social exchanges, and linguistic influences. Indian diasporas in Thailand and the frequent pilgrimages by Thai nationals to India's Buddhist sites further strengthen these relations.
The introduction of the e-Visa system reflects the countries' efforts to simplify travel and enhance bilateral engagement. Further updates regarding the system’s implementation will be announced by the Royal Thai Embassy and Consulate-Generals.
