At 17, Dora Boussias arrived in the U.S. with limited English proficiency, stepping into a world vastly different from the one she had known. Raised in a humble yet loving family, she spent her early years working on their farm, cultivating tobacco and other crops. These formative experiences instilled in her an unwavering resilience, a strong work ethic, and the perseverance that would become the foundation of her remarkable journey. As she navigated life in a new country, she relied on these values to overcome language barriers, balance her studies, and work her way through college in pursuit of an education. This relentless determination propelled her into a 30-year career leading transformative global initiatives in data, AI, and leadership across industries, holding leadership roles at world-class companies like GE, Stryker, and Prudential.

Navigating the challenges of a male-dominated tech industry, Dora learned powerful lessons that shaped her leadership approach. She built a strong academic foundation with a BS in Computer Science and an MBA with a focus on Management and Finance from Quinnipiac University, alongside certifications in AI and leadership development from esteemed institutions such as MIT Sloan School of Management and the Jack F. Welch Leadership Center. With expertise spanning Financial Services, Healthcare, Insurance, Retail, Construction, and Education, she has led enterprise-level transformations, driven business innovation, and delivered scalable solutions. Her contributions to the fields of data, AI, and leadership have earned her recognition both internally and publicly.

Beyond corporate milestones, Dora has always been deeply committed to mentorship and advocacy. She has dedicated time to coaching aspiring professionals and seasoned leaders alike, mentoring women in tech, and sharing her expertise as an international speaker and advisor to several boards. She believes in empowering individuals to take ownership of their careers, urging them to ‘be the captain of their ship’™ as they navigate professional growth and transformation.

Her journey, however, has not been without challenges. She recalls the early days of college when fear held her back from speaking, worried that her English skills were inadequate. But she took small, intentional steps forward, asking questions despite fear, taking on projects outside her comfort zone, and continuously learning. Dora emphasizes that success is not an overnight achievement but the result of consistent effort, resilience, and a willingness to embrace discomfort. She encourages others to acknowledge their fears but not let them become barriers to progress.

Today, Dora’s mission is clear: to empower women in tech, data leaders, and growth-driven professionals with the tools and strategies they need to unlock their full potential.
